Did you know that lameness is the leading cause of wastage in horses? From an economic stand point, lameness causes the largest amount of economic loss to the horse owner. Just as you vaccinate your horse to help prevent infectious disease you should have your horse periodically evaluated to determine if there are any potential lameness problems.
Anoka Equine is excited to offer a new soundness program for performance horses. The program’s goal is to help you maximize your horse’s athletic performance and career longevity by allowing earlier detection of potential performance limiting problems.
PLATINUM
Cost $700 annually (Program cost to be paid in full at 1st appointment.)
The Platinum program includes:
· 2 complete examinations per year that both MUST be scheduled at the CLINIC
· Passive exam, moving exam (walk, trot in hand and on a lunge line)
· Examination under saddle and Thermographic exam post ride
· Saddle fit evaluation - subjective and thermal imaging.
· Hoof evaluation, computer evaluation of digital photo -
recorded and assessed for changes over time
· Radiographs of front feet (AP & lateral 2 times per year)
· High priority for clinical problems (will be scheduled at first available appointment)
· A Performance Horse Wellness report will be written within 7 days
· Discount on the price of any additional digital radiographs*
· Discount on IV Legend and Adequan*
GOLD
Cost $500 annually (Program cost to be paid in full at 1st appointment.)
The Gold program includes:
· 2 complete examinations per year that can be scheduled on the FARM
or at the CLINIC
