Anoka Equine offers a wide variety of both elective and emergency surgical options. Anoka Equine has a several veterinarians trained to do surgery as well as one boarded veterinary surgeon. We also have a boarded veterinary ophthalmologist that is available to provide many ophthalmic procedures. Our doctors and staff provide the experience, equipment and commitment to excellence necessary for high quality surgery, including emergency, general and arthroscopic capabilities. 

Surgeons 

• Dr. Kevin Voller has 20 years of surgical experience, including two years of postgraduate surgical training at theUniversity of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Voller has a particular interest in colic surger, arthroscopy and lameness.
• Dr. J.C. Thieke has 12 years of surgical experience including an internship at the Littleton Large Animal Hospital in Littleton, Colorado. Dr. Thieke has a particular interest in arthroscopy. 
  
  
• Dr Rick Marion has over 20 years experience including a 3 year surgery residency at the University of Minnesota as well as having served on the staff at the veterinary school at the University of Missouri. 
  
  
• Dr. Tracy Turner is a boarded surgeon with the American Academy of Veterinary Surgeons. He has practiced for over 20 years and has taught surgical courses at the University of Minnesota and the University of Florida.
