Round-the-Clock Equine Hospital Care You Can Trust
When your horse needs more than a routine visit, Anoka Equine Veterinary Services provides comprehensive internal medicine with hospitalization and 24-hour care. From urgent stabilization to complex medical management, we offer round-the-clock availability for hospitalization and emergency care—delivered by a coordinated team that knows performance and pleasure horses inside and out.
24/7 Care You Can Count On
Our hospital is staffed for emergencies at all hours. We have an experienced team member on-site monitoring patients, and our in-stall camera systems allow doctors to check on cases when they are off-site or responding to another call. You get timely updates, and your horse gets vigilant care.
General Hospitalization & Isolation
We accept general hospitalization for emergencies as well as ongoing medical cases that require intensive nursing, IV fluids, or continuous observation. To protect every patient, we maintain both an isolation stall and a semi-isolation stall for infectious or respiratory concerns, with strict biosecurity protocols.
Fast, In-House Diagnostics
Time matters in medical cases. Our diagnostic capabilities allow our veterinary team to find answers quickly.
- Quick-turn bloodwork with many results available on site for emergency decision-making
- Advanced endoscopy, including gastroscopy and upper airway endoscopy, to investigate ulcers, reflux, nasal discharge, coughing, poor performance, and more
When additional imaging or procedures are indicated, we’ll outline the options and help you decide the safest, most effective plan.
Foal Care: Mare & Foal Medicine
New arrivals deserve specialized attention. We provide emergency care for foals and babies and a dedicated Neonatal ICU environment for round-the-clock monitoring, plasma administration, and intensive supportive care.
