Infertility or Sub-fertility of the Stallion 

The infertile or sub-fertile stallion is always a frustration for owners. We work with owners to find the cause of fertility problems and try to find a way to increase production.

• Testicular Ultrasound Evaluation 
• Penile Video Endoscopy 

Frozen Semen 

We process hundreds of doses of frozen semen a year. We freeze for domestic as well as international use. Frozen semen for domestic use is often used for those stallions that are too busy showing during the breeding season. It is always a good idea to freeze any stallion as insurance in case your stallion is injured or dies unexpectedly. For international freezing, specific cultures and blood tests must be done prior to the collection of semen. Anoka Equine is one of only three facilities approved in Minnesota for the freezing of semen to be shipped to the European Union.
