Barn Crew
Patti joined AE in February of 2018. She is originally from Chicago but has made MN her home for over 30 years. She currently lives in Isanti and is married with 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy. Her family also includes 2 horses, a 28 year old Appendix named, Trouble and a 12 year old Solid Paint named, Rev, 2 black labs, 6 barn cats and 8 chickens. The menagerie of critters keeps her busy but she loves it!She loves to hang out with her horses, garden and be outdoors. Her life has been greatly enriched by working at AE; not only by spending time with and caring for the horses but also having great co-workers.

Amber joined AE in the spring of 2020.

Erica joined AE in winter 2019 as a barn crew member and is currently assisting staff during the day in the summers. She attends school at University of Wisconsin River Falls and is set to graduate with an Equine Science degree in May 2020. Erica enjoys trail riding with her 4 horses, Koda, Lexi, Maxi, and Zip.

Abbey
Barn Crew
Abbey joined the AE team in August of 2020. She grew up riding her aunts horses, which started her passion for working with them. Abbey is looking forward to owning her own, along with multiple other animals in the future. She is currently attending Ridgewater College to attain her degree in Veterinary Technology. Abbey enjoys outdoor adventures with her Black Lab/Cattle Dog mix, Nova, as well as gardening, and working on her photography skills.
Kristina
Barn Crew
Kristina joined the AE team in July of 2019. She grew up on her family farm north of Elk River, with 6 horses, 2 German Shorthaired Pointers, chickens, pigeons, and a house cat. Kristina recently graduated from UW River Falls with a BS in Equine science in the spring of 2021. Currently, she is pursing an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology at Ridgewater College, and is set to graduate in May of 2024. In her free time, she enjoys spending time showing her 18 year old Quarter Horse mare Sassy and working with her 2 year old Quarter Horse filly Dreamer, as well as playing outside with her GSP pup Tucker. Kristina enjoys spending time with family, growing her photography skills as well as hunting and fishing. She really enjoys being a part of the AE team as she has gained so much knowledge when it comes to caring for horses, and enjoys how we are all one big family, gaining many friendships.
Makenna
Barn Crew
Makenna joined the AE team in March of 2022. Makenna grew up on a farm in Becker, MN, where her family owns 6 horses, 6 barn cats, goats, chickens, 3 indoor dogs, and 3 indoor cats. She is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin River Falls, majoring in Animal Science, with hopes of becoming an Equine Veterinarian. She enjoys spending time with her Clydesdale cross, named Shiloh, reading, and spending time with friends, family, and their animals. Makenna enjoys being a part of the AE team, and is thankful for the knowledge and experience she is gaining from working here.
