Nicole
Office Manager
Nicole joined the Anoka Equine team in 2022. With her background in management outside of veterinary medicine, she brings a unique perspective to the office and clinic operations. Nicole lives with her husband, two children and dog in Big Lake, MN. When she’s not in the office, Nicole loves to spend time with her family at the lake, gardening, and reading.
Kathy
Front Desk Supervisor
Kathy came to AE in 2009 with 8 years of prior experience as a veterinary receptionist. She is passionate about taking care of our clients and doing her best to make sure their horses' needs are met. In her free time, Kathy enjoys travel and spending time with family and friends. She is also an avid fan of the Professional Bull Rider's circuit. In addition to horses, she loves dogs and cats.
Val
Office Assistant
Val has been an Office Assistant at AE since 1998. She became a full-time employee in 2009 and has taken on the roles of Inventory Specialist and Accounts Payable Assistant. Val and her husband Bob run their own Arabian/Half-Arabian training facility and spend a lot of time traveling around the country to horse shows, often with their beloved dog, Garth.
Erin
Office Assistant
Erin started with us in May of 2016. She has been a hair stylist since 1999 but has always had a strong passion for animals. For the past 10 years she has remained an active volunteer in the dog rescue community, specifically working with Pit bulls, Rottweilers and Huskies. She came to us with some horse background, but her horse knowledge grows a little more every day at Anoka Equine. In Erin's free time she spends time with her own pitbull rescue, Maggie. She also loves to cheer on the Vikings, spend time outdoors, and travel as much as possible.
