Front Desk Supervisor

Kathy came to AE in 2009 with 8 years of prior experience as a veterinary receptionist. She is passionate about taking care of our clients and doing her best to make sure their horses' needs are met. In her free time, Kathy enjoys travel and spending time with family and friends.  She is also an avid fan of the Professional Bull Rider's circuit. In addition to horses, she loves dogs and cats.

Office Assistant

Val has been an Office Assistant at AE since 1998. She became a full-time employee in 2009 and has taken on the roles of Inventory Specialist and Accounts Payable Assistant. Val and her husband Bob run their own Arabian/Half-Arabian training facility and spend a lot of time traveling around the country to horse shows, often with their beloved dog, Garth.

Sarah

Office Assistant

Sarah started working at Anoka Equine in 2014. She grew up taking riding lessons, showing horses and eventually owning her own. Sarah lives on a hobby farm with her husband, 5 children and MANY animals! When she isn't at work she is head of "Mom's Taxi Service", Animal Caretaker Extraordinaire and cheerleader for her children and husband. Sarah also loves to spend time outdoors with her family.

Office Assistant

Erin started with us in May of 2016. She has been a hair stylist since 1999 but has always had a strong passion for animals. For the past 10 years she has remained an active volunteer in the dog rescue community, specifically working with Pit bulls, Rottweilers and Huskies. She came to us with some horse background, but her horse knowledge grows a little more every day at Anoka Equine. In Erin's free time she spends time with her own pitbull rescue, Maggie. She also loves to cheer on the Vikings, spend time outdoors, and travel as much as possible.

Sammy

Office Assistant

Sammy joined AE in April of 2019 as an office assistant. She graduated with an AAS in veterinary technology from Minnesota School of Business in 2012 and maintains her CVT license. She worked for 6+ years at the University of Minnesota Veterinary College, where she was a technician, as well as working in the front of the hospital. In her free time, she enjoys napping, reading and writing. She loves and shares her home with her husband, two dogs, two cats, and her little herd of miniature horses.
